Grayson is a 2004 fan film made by John Fiorella featuring DC Comics character Dick Grayson along with several other DC Universe characters
Since it is a fan film, it was not allowed to be sold at a profit and was thus distributed for free on the internet.
No matter how many times I watch this i still get the chills. This would have made a incredible movie.

Now this is something that could only happen like once in a life time. A struggling family facing foreclosure has found what every comic book geek in would love to have there hands on for real. A copy of Action Comics No. 1 Now i would would love to have this seein as im one of the biggest superman geeks in the world lol.
It was discovered as the family went about the painful task of packing up a home that had been in since at least the 1950s.Now There are five known CGC-graded copies with a grade above VG (CGC 4.0), with a single issue having the best grade of VF+ (CGC 8.5). so if im right this this will bring it up to six.
Action Comics No. 1 started & ushered in the age of the superhero & is one of the most important pieces of pop culture history.
The couple learned online that ComicConnect.com had brokered the record-breaking sales of Action No. 1 copies for $1 million in February and then $1.5 million one month later.
In a statement released through ComicConnect, the owner of the comic book said the family was still "a little shell shocked" after the unexpected find. "I was so nervous when I realized what it was worth," the owner said. "I know I am very fortunate but I will be greatly relieved when this book finds a new home."
Last Thursday, the couple's copy received a 5.0 VG(Very Good)/Fine rating on a scale of 1 to 10. It could fetch upwards of $250,000 when it goes up for auction on ComicConnect.com from Aug. 27 through Sept. 17.
The couple who live in the South asked to remain anonymous.

Warner Bros. has unveiled an official logo and first promotional art for the highly anticipated movie.

Mike Judge Outlining 30 New Episodes of BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD

If you’re too young to remember or maybe your parents didn’t let you watch when you were the right age to see the series, the show followed two stupid, obnoxious and rude high school kids living together in the fictional town of Highland. The two get themselves into plenty of trouble and strange social situations at school, out-of-school, working their dead-end job at Burger World and just messing around in their neighborhood. In addition to their antics outside of their house, Beavis and Butt-Head would also partake in some Mystery Science Theater 3000 like criticism of various rock/heavy metal music videos from the likes of Black Sabbath, Metallica, and many more.
Judge is currently developing the new episodes with the intention that they return to MTV where it all started. However, it’s important to note that there is currently no official deal in place with MTV, so the episodes may end up finding a new home. And the good news is, fans of the original series won’t have to worry about any unfamiliar updates to the animation style or show formula as Judge is not only sticking to the show’s traditional “ghetto-tech aesthetic,” but it will also feature Beavis and Butt-Head mocking contemporary music video clips between the various sketches.

Me I really hope this happens. Besides the fact that these two are hilarious, it might actually make MTV somewhat watchable again.

"Fall Guy" Gets Rebooted

DreamWorks Pictures has begun development of a film reboot of the early 80's Lee Majors series "The Fall Guy"
Glen A. Larson ("Magnum P.I.," "Knight Rider") created the series which followed Colt Seavers, a 42-year-old Hollywood stuntman who worked as a bounty hunter on the side.
The project is still in early development with a writer expected to be hired soon.

In an official press release from Sony, it has been confirmed that Andrew Garfield has scored the role of Peter Parker in the upcoming "Spider-Man 3D" reboot opening July 3rd 2012.

Now he has the looks but i have only seen him in 2 things so far one was Doctor Who & the other was he Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus where he played Anton.

I still dont know if he has the goods to be the next Spidey but time will tell.
Garfield will immediately begin preparing for the coveted role with production on the film kicking off in early December.

Yes Its another year of Big Brother & the Big Brother 12 houseguests will finally begin playing the game tomorrow. But the feeds wont come on for a few days still so that sucks lol . Big Brother 12’s major twist for this year is known as “The Saboteur” is an individual who will live among the houseguests and who’s sole purpose is to wreak havoc inside the Big Brother house. He or she will receive tasks on the recommendation from Big Brother fans.

Big Brother 12 producers said that his new twist will “top all past seasons.”
"We’ve inserted a game piece into the show this season that will make life for the Houseguests harder than ever before," stated Allison Grodner, Executive Producer of Big Brother. "This is a twist that will wreak havoc on the house and the audience will be a part of it."

Upon moving into the house on premiere night, Houseguests will discover that one of them is not really there to win the game, but rather to sabotage their fellow players. While the saboteur’s identity will remain a secret to the Houseguests, America will learn his/her identity on Thursday, July 15, during the first live show. At that time, fans can begin offering suggestions for how the saboteur should disrupt the game. The longer the saboteur is able to maintain their anonymity while carrying out their fan-inspired sabotage, the more financially rewarding it will be for them.

2nd SUPERMAN/BATMAN Arc Getting DVD Treatment

This morning, Marvel announced that Jeph Loeb is now Executive Vice President, Head of Television, and will be in charge of bringing more Marvel properties to TV. Now, according to Superman Homepage, who acquired the cover art for the next DCAU project, we learn that another arc of his Superman/Batman run is coming to small screens via DVD.

After Superman/Batman: Public Enemies‘ success, Warner Home Video will be bringing Superman/Batman: Apocalypse to DVD and Blu-Ray on September 28, 2010. An official announcement is expected at Comic-con International: San Diego this July. The cover art shows Darkseid and the “Evil Supergirl” designed by deceased artist Michael Turner. These were the two key characters in the second arc of Jeph Loeb’s run, used to re-introduce Superman’s cousin Kara Zor-El to the DCU.

Microsoft announced the brand-new Xbox 360 redesign. Smaller and quieter, the new Xbox 360 comes with built-in WiFi and a 250 GB hard drive. The wait for the new Xbox 360 is short, too. Very short. The new Xbox 360 ships today in North America and will be in retail later this week. The machine costs $299 USD, the same price as the existing 250 GB model. In Australia, it will release on 1st July for $449 AUD and for $499 NZD on 9th July in New Zealand. It'll launch July 16 across Europe and in the UK, priced 199 GBP.

The new Xbox 360 is primarily glossy black. There appears to be more vents on it for heat dispersion. The front of the machine has a sharper indent than the current hourglass design.

Sam Raimi Confirmed As Director Of Disney's WIZARD OF OZ Prequel!

Sam Raimi has agreed to direct Disney's 3-D prequel to THE WIZARD OF OZ, currently titled OZ: THE GREAT AND POWERFUL (it used to be called BRICK) - and since she hasn't rewritten the article in the last few hours, I guess we can assume the story is 100% correct. The screenplay by Mitchell Kapner (THE WHOLE NINE YARDS, INTO THE BLUE 2: THE REEF) purports to give us a "dark and complex" origin tale in which the Wizard is whisked away from his earthbound circus-wrangler gig to the land of Oz, where the natives confuse him for an all-knowing god. Or something like that.

If Disney gets their way, Robert Downey Jr. will star as the Wizard (the role is currently being rewritten with him in mind) LOL all i have to say is kin yessss do it lol

Shockwave The Next Villain For Transformers 3

USA Today recently visited the set of the third "Transformers" and garnered several new tidbits on the film & we Found out all this cool stuff:

Despite Michael Bay not being a fan of 3D, the film will be released in 3D though it's unsure as yet if it will be shot that way or converted in post-production.

Shockwave has been confirmed as the villain, the character described as "the robot cyclops-turned-laser-cannon, who became dictator of their home world of Cybertron after the other Autobots and Decepticons journeyed to Earth."

Another story element was the Cold War space race between the U.S.S.R. and the USA with a hidden Transformers role in it that remains one of the planet's most dangerous secrets.

Bay says this third one "really builds to a final crescendo. It's not three multiple endings" and they've removed much of the "dorky comedy". This includes the racist robot twins who are "basically gone" from this, but John Turturro will still provide some comic relief. Bay says As a trilogy, it really ends. It could be rebooted again, but I think it has a really killer ending."

R.I.P Heroes

It's done. It seemed like there might be a little bit of wiggle room right there at the end, but now it's been made official: Heroes has been canceled.
Deadline Hollywood is reporting that while Heroes is indeed cancelled, NBC is still "working on a way to wrap up the show," and may soon commit to a two or four hour special event for midseason that would end the story.

AMC Greenlights Frank Darabont’s Zombie Thriller WALKING DEAD For Oct !!!!

Ok if ya read this comic and love it as much as i do then you will be jumping up and down yelling like i did when i found this out today.
Heres what the page i found says AMC has ordered six episodes of the series that revolves around a group of survivors of a zombie apocalypse. Darabont penned and directed the pilot and will exec produce with Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd of Valhalla Motion Pictures and David Alpert of Circle of Confusion, which will be funded entirely inhouse by AMC parent Rainbow Media. Charles Eglee, a seasoned TV drama showrunner, has also boarded the project as an exec producer.
Dead" is set to begin production in June in Atlanta. It's targeted for an October bow, dovetailing with Halloween and AMC's annual "Fearfest" two-week marathon of horror and thriller pics.
So for you that dont know what walking dead is this is what it is.
The Walking Dead is centered on Rick Grimes, a small-town police officer from Cynthiana Kentucky his family, and a number of other survivors who have banded together in order to survive after the world is overrun with yes you know it mean nasty dumb zombie old school kinds.As the series progresses, the characters become more developed, and their personalities shift under the stress of a zombie apocalypse. R.I.P. Dick Giordano : July 20, 1932 – March 27, 2010

One of the greats in comics died today Dick Giordano. I met him a few times at some cons here at my home when we had cons here in the city & at the San Diego Comic Con. Where he gave his John Hancock to alot of my books one of my favs he did for me was my Superman vs. Muhammad Ali comic is still to this day. For people that dont know or for the ones that do know here is some of his life and career. Dick Giordano was born in New York City in the borough of Manhattan.Beginning as a freelance artist at Charlton Comics in 1952. By 1965 he was editor-in-chief & brought on board such names as Jim Aparo Denny O'Neil & others. By 1976 DC Comics' then-publisher Carmine Infantino hired Giordano as an editor. bringing over to DC many of the creators that dc still has today in some way or another.By 1971 Giordano had left DC to partner with Denny O'Neil for their Continuity Associates studios which served as an art packager for comic book publishers.In 1980 new DC publisher Jenette Kahn brought Giordano back to DC. Then in 1981 Giordano was named the company's new managing editor. Not too long after that in in 1983 promoted to Vice President/Executive Editor of Dc Comics.A position he held until 1993.With Kahn and Paul Levitz Giordano helped relaunch Superman,Batman,Wonder Woman,The Flash,Green Lantern,Justice League of America & the Teen Titans.During this period until he left the company, Giordano wrote a monthly column published in DC titles called "Meanwhile..." which much like Marvel's Bullpen Bulletins featured news & information about the company and its creators. Giordano closed each "Meanwhile..." column with the characteristic words Thank you and good afternoon. Beginning in 1985 Giordano was in the middle of an industry wide debate about the comics industry and creators rights. led in part to the 1988 drafting of the Creator's Bill of Rights. Giordano left DC and went into semi-retirement in 1993 still doing the occasional inking job.In 2002, Giordano helped launch Future Comics. But closed down after only two-and-a-half years in business in 2004.Giordano was married for many years to Marie Trapani who died from stomach cancer in 1993.Marie's death, combined with Giordano's increasing hearing loss, hastened his decision to retire from DC.Giordano who suffered from Leukemia had been hospitalized at Florida Hospital Oceanside.He died due to complications from pneumonia at the age of 77. Now this man served as mentor or inspiration to a generations of Fans like my self or to others out there in the world. He will be missed & still rembered all around the world for years and years to come . May he Rest In Peace

Doctor Who - Series 5 Trailer Update

This just in today Broadcast Now reports that Karen Gillan will be returning as a regular in next season's episodes which kick off shooting in July, a notable change considering the full-time companion has changed each year since the show's revival, aside from Rose (Billie Piper) who lasted the first two full seasons in 2005 and 2006.

DuckTales Is Back

Boom Studios grants the wishes of lots by bringing back a Disney classic.

UNCLE SCROOGE #392 will host the return of Duckburg and its beloved residents. The DuckTales arc will last for four issues.

Mickey's Mailbag has been overflowing with requests for a trip back to the world of The Disney Afternoon, and because the fans demanded it...DuckTales returns starting in UNCLE SCROOGE #392 this June.

The premiere of DuckTales in UNCLE SCROOGE #392 will appear on store shelves the same month as BOOM!'s new DARKWING DUCK mini-series that was announced this past weekend.

"DuckTales is one of the most beloved television shows of the '90s," said BOOM Kids! editor Aaron Sparrow. "It's just spectacular to be bringing it back for a whole new generation to discover and enjoy!"

The fun begins in UNCLE SCROOGE #392, as BOOM Kids! kicks off the four-issue arc, "Like a Hurricane!" Doctor Who
The press launch for the new season took place yesterday in Wales where an almost completed cut of the first episode was screened. A few spoiler-light reviews are up at The BBC, Den of Geek, The Sun, Sky TV, The Guardian and The Times Online.

New facts garnered are that the show will get a Christmas Special this year and has already been renewed for another full season next year with Matt Smith returning as The Doctor. Filming on the special and next season kicks off in early July in Cardiff while filming on the current season wraps this Saturday. A post-premiere trailer was aired showing off what's to come during the rest of the season with a glimpse of the Cybermen in the clip apparently, probably relating to the final two-parter. A 30-second clip from the early moments of the opening episode (new Doc talking to a younger incarnation of new companion Amy Pond)

A few more details of the new look, three-level "steampunk-inspired" TARDIS interior have also come to light with the central control console consisting of all sorts of wacky instruments - a typewriter, a 1980s touchphone, a 1970's digital clock, a gramophone speaker, a petrol pump, a morse code machine, hot/cold water taps, dials and pistons and a blown glass 'time rotor'.

There's also a door leading to other rooms within the machine's interior including a library and Swimming Pool which Matt Smith's Doctor makes a quick reference to in the opening episode (the pool was seen in the classic series). Moffat explains the design to The Guardian saying "there is no such thing as modern to the Tardis... [it] rebuilds itself around the new Doctor and because the Doctor is completely mad, it builds itself around his madness."

With three weeks to go, a swath of updates on the first season of the next incarnation of "Doctor Who" have come through so lets get to it starting with a new batch of photos from the first episode at Dr Who TV.

Premiere Dates (Updated)
The BBC have confirmed a Saturday April 3rd bow at 6:25pm GMT for the Season Premiere in the UK (and are officially calling it "Series Five"). That's two weeks ahead of the US and Australian broadcasts which will kick off the new season from Saturday April 17th on BBC America and Sunday April 18th on ABC1 respectively.

US fans can get an earlier sneak peek just a few hours after the UK broadcast at the San Francisco Wondercon on the evening of April 3rd. BBC America also confirmed via Twitter that unlike the Syfy broadcasts and the repeats of the Tennant-era episodes they've previously run, this season will be broadcast without any cuts or editing. This includes the extended season premiere which will run with "limited commercial interruption".

Australian fans who can wait will be able to watch the premiere online, legally, through ABC's free iView service two days earlier from just after midnight on Friday April 16th.

Character Talk
The Telegraph has done a lengthy set visit-style article talking with the producers and stars of the new series during filming on the first broadcast episode of the new season and a few months later during the tail end of production.

Amongst the new facts garnered is that unlike Tennant's previous companions, don't expect Amy Pond to be taking trips home to see the happy family, a trait that helps her and the Time Lord bond - "Because Amy has no parents, she’s this Scottish girl in an English village. So they’re both lost souls that have found each other. And they both have a sense of adventure about them, and I think that’s what the Doctor loves about Amy. She has that spirit in her, and that fire. She keeps him on his toes" says actress Karen Gillan.

Showrunner Stephen Moffat's aim for the new show is "not to be shit... The audience, whether they’re eight years old or 48, they’re not waiting to see why it’s different or strange or new, they’re just wanting it to be really good. It’s actually an incredibly easy challenge to make something different. It’s incredibly hard to make something good."

The writer has also given a description of Matt Smith's work as the new Doctor that he's seen - " funny but not comical, thoughtful but not academic... Smith is certainly his own Doctor. Less prickly than Eccleston and without the slapstick of Tennant, he brings an air of muddled intensity that’s a bit reminiscent of, say, Tom Baker."

TARDIS Talk
The most exciting bit of new information in that Telegraph article though is the discussion of the new TARDIS interior set which we won't see until the end of the first episode (so far spy photos and trailers have shown only tiny glimpses of small portions of it). Here's the description they give with more details than ever before:

"It must be three times the size of Tennant’s, on multiple levels with staircases in between. Less grubby than its predecessor, with a transparent plastic floor on the main level, its walls are resplendent with polished copper and its central column features a blown glass decoration that could be straight from Tales of the Unexpected.

There are old car seats and downstairs – downstairs! – a swing. With a nod to Paul McGann’s Tardis, the central column features an old TV screen on an extendable trellis. It also has a 1980s-style computer keyboard, and a His-Master’s-Voice style trumpet speaker."

Wii Game
Finally The Sun reports that Nintendo has agreed to a contract with the BBC said to be worth over £10 million to create a much-anticipated 'Who' game for its popular Wii and DS consoles based around Matt Smith's doctor.

The main difficulty up until now has been coming up with a game idea that doesn't have a shooter element seeing as The Doctor blasting aliens left and right with guns is completely out of character.
